قطار الاتحاد: يمثّل مشروع قطار الاتحاد، أحد أهم المشاريع الاقتصادية والتنموية التي سترفع من أداء قطاع المواصلات والنقل للركاب والبضائع، في أنحاء دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة والخليج العربي، إذ تعدّ السكك الحديدية من أهم وسائل النقل التي تعتمد عليها الدول في تحقيق الأهداف الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والسياسية، بعد مراعاة خصائص الاستثمار في قطاع سكك الحديد التي تمتاز بضخامة الاستثمارات. وأكدت الاتحاد للقطارات أن مناقصات المرحلة الثانية لمشروع قطار الاتحاد، دخلت المرحلة الأخيرة من التقييم، حيث تعنى المرحلة الثانية بإنهاء شبكة السكك الحديدية في إمارة أبو ظبي من خلال ربطها بحدود الدولة مع المملكة العربية السعودية عند الغويفات، وحدود الدولة مع سلطنة عُمان عند العين، إضافة إلى الربط مع منطقة مصفح، وميناء خليفة في أبو ظبي، وكذلك ميناء جبل علي في دبي.
أما الدفاع الجوي فلديه صواريخ هوك مع توفر التدريب في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. وقد حصلت الإمارات على اثنين من أصل خمسة بطاريات إطلاق صواريخ الهوك.
